But Iskra Cz was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Dabrowa Gornicza 98-85 on Saturday night. MKS DG 2 made 24-of-31 free shots (77.4 percent) during the game. They also forced 28 Iskra Cz turnovers. Point guard Wiktor Rajewicz (180-0) stepped up and scored 34 points (!!!) and 4 steals for the winners and Dawid Boryka (188-97) chipped in 23 points and 9 rebounds. MKS DG 2's coach Wojciech Wieczorek used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side swingman Mateusz Gazarkiewicz (193-91) responded with 21 points and 8 rebounds and guard Jaroslaw Fomiczow (192-11) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks. Five Iskra Cz players scored in double figures. MKS DG 2 will meet at home Wisla Krakow in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Iskra Cz will play against Rybnik and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
