Regular Season Round 1: Grasshoppers - Jolly J. 94-61

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Jolly J. in Katwijk. Visitors were rolled over by Grasshoppers 94-61. Grasshoppers dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Jolly J.'s 36. Grasshoppers forced 21 Jolly J. turnovers and outrebounded them 52-35 including 17 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Jolly J.'s players. Jolly J.'s coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Grasshoppers will play against Utrecht at home in the next round. Jolly J. will play against Binnenland in Barendecht and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
