Rather expected game in Slupsk where 6th ranked Stal (2-2) was defeated by top-ranked Czarni (4-0) 88-80 on Sunday. Czarni looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Canadian point guard Marek Klassen (185-92, college: PLNU) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Billy Garrett (197-94, college: DePaul) who added 18 points and 4 assists during the contest. Czarni's coach Mantas Cesnauskis used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American guard James Palmer Jr (196-96, college: Nebraska) responded with 15 points and 6 rebounds and the former international power forward Damian Kulig (205-87, agency: BeoBasket) scored 20 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Czarni have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Anwil. Defending champion Stal keeps the sixth place with two games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams.
