At the losing side American guard Vincent Sanford (193-90, college: Dayton, agency: Slash Sports) responded with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import forward Tyrique Jones (206-97, college: Xavier, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Sassari will meet Brindisi on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Pesaro will play against Trieste and hope to win that game.
