Regular Season Round 1: Buducnost - Triglav 87-51

Montenegrin Buducnost smashed Slovenian Triglav in Podgorica 87-51. The game without a history. Buducnost led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Triglav's 24. Buducnost forced 22 Triglav turnovers and outrebounded them 47-24 including a 22-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Mina Djordjevic (188-99) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Jovana Savkovic (173-5) chipped in 13 points. Buducnost's coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Lara Bubnic (190-99) produced 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Manca Vrecer (178-2) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Triglav will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Buducnost will try to continue on its current victory against 021 in Novi Sad.
