Regular Season Round 3: Rivas - Alcobendas 81-72

First defeat of league's leader Alcobendas (2-1) against Rivas (2-1) 81-72 was the most important game of the last round. It was a good game for point guard Alvaro Frutos (188-87) who led his team to a victory with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Juan Jose Jimenez (184-1) contributed with 22 points for the winners. Four Rivas players scored in double figures. Jorge Tejera (200-92) answered with 23 points and 6 rebounds and Eduardo Martinez (193-96) added 7 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Alcobendas. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Alcobendas will play next round against Majadahonda trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Rivas will try to continue on its current victory against Quintanar on the road.
