Rybnik used a home court advantage and edged the opponent from Czestochowa 70-69 on Saturday night. However just one-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Point guard Kacper Wydra (180-0) notched a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and center Adam Andula (201-87) supported him with 11 points and 9 rebounds. Even 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists by swingman Mateusz Gazarkiewicz (193-91) did not help to save the game for Iskra Cz. Point guard Adrian Placzek (182-85) added 17 points and 8 assists for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Rybnik will meet at home Cracovia in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Iskra Cz will have a break next round.
