Regular Season Round 3: Zentro Basket 2 - Tenerife Naut. 71-74

There was a minor upset when Zentro Basket 2 (1-2) was edged by Tenerife Naut. (1-2) in Madrid 74-71 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for Senegalese power forward Niang Fallou (202-88) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. Montenegrin forward Danilo Brnovic (200-0) accounted for 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) for the winning side. Five Tenerife Naut. players scored in double figures. DR Congolese center Ken Baoko (202-3) came up with 9 points and 8 rebounds and Ivan Correa (196) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Zentro Basket 2 in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Tenerife Naut. will meet at home Fuenlabrada 2 (#9) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Zentro Basket 2 will play against Alcala and hope to win that game.
