Regular Season Round 3: Zadar - Cedevita Jr. 86-68

The most surprising game was a loss of Cedevita Jr. (2-1) on the court of Zadar on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Zadar 86-68. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for Serbian Aleksandar Bursac (205-95, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory with 14 points. The former international Domagoj Vukovic (206-93) contributed with 10 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Zadar players scored in double figures. International point guard Goran Filipovic (180-96) answered with 13 points and naturalized Bosnian guard Josip Batinic (197-99) added 11 points in the effort for Cedevita Jr.Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zadar will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Cedevita Jr. will play at home against Osijek and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
