But Ostrow Mazow. was not able to use a home court advantage and was crushed by the opponent from Bielsk Podlaski 98-70 on Sunday night. Tur Bielsk Pdl. forced 19 Ostrow Mazow. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Aaron Weres (196-91) notched 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and Jaroslaw Gizynski (196-99) supported him with 22 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Tur Bielsk Pdl. players scored in double figures. Even 9 points and 9 rebounds by French forward Marius Enoise (196-90) did not help to save the game for Ostrow Mazow.. Forward Przemyslaw Sloniewski (193-94) added 11 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tur Bielsk Pdl. will meet at home Polonia W-wa in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Ostrow Mazow. will play against MKS Ochota in Warszawa and hope to win that game.
