Borisfen smashed Brest in Mogilev 113-55. The game without a history. Borisfen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Brest to just 7 points in first quarter. Borisfen dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Brest's 42. They outrebounded Brest 48-23 including a 31-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. Borisfen looked well-organized offensively handing out 38 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Brest's players. The best player for the winners was power forward Aleksandr Kopachev (203-95) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Center Pavel Karasevich (203-89) chipped in a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Five Borisfen players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Vladislav Lagodich (180-2) who recorded 16 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and point guard Timofey Karpuk (185-2) added 18 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Brest will play next round against strong Grodno trying to get back on the winning streak. Borisfen will try to continue on its current victory against Grodno on the road.
