Regular Season Round 2: Seagulls - Bisons 83-71

Round 2 most important game was a defeat of Bisons. They were defeated by Seagulls 83-71 on Tuesday night. The game was mostly controlled by Seagulls. Bisons managed to win third quarter 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Seagulls looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Guard Lassi Nikkarinen (187-97, college: Montana St.) scored 24 points and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and international Tuukka Kotti (205-81, college: Providence) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) during the contest. American guard Cortez Edwards (188-97, college: Southern Miss) responded with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import forward Kazembe Abif (201-92, college: Drexel) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Four Bisons players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bisons will play next round against Kataja trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Seagulls will try to continue on its current victory against Nokia on the road.
