Regular Season Round 2: Levallois - Monaco 95-63

Very expected game when Monaco was crushed on the road by Levallois 95-63 on Tuesday. Levallois forced 20 Monaco turnovers and outrebounded them 51-34 including 21 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Levallois made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was forward Maxime Yomi (204-2) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 21 rebounds. Nicolas Ventura (187-4) chipped in 22 points and 5 rebounds. Monaco Vincent Vermillac (192-1) produced 20 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and Monaco guard Nils Gasser (178-1) added 7 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Levallois will meet Nanterre on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Monaco will play against Le Mans and hope to win that game.
