Regular Season Round 4: Boras - BC Lulea 95-67

Very important is a road loss of third ranked BC Lulea (2-2) against eighth ranked Boras Basket (1-2) on Friday night. Visiting BC Lulea was crushed by Boras Basket in Boras 95-67. Boras Basket players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by BC Lulea's players. Worth to mention a great performance of international William Gutenius (206-92) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 rebounds and American point guard Siyani Chambers (183-93, college: Harvard) who added 12 points and 7 assists during the contest. Five Boras Basket players scored in double figures. Boras Basket's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Austrian-American forward Bryce Douvier (201-91, college: TAMUCC) responded with 21 points and 5 rebounds and American-Latvian center Andrew Smith (205-92, college: Liberty) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Boras Basket left bottom position moving up to sixth place, which they share with Umea. BC Lulea at the other side dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. Boras Basket will play against higher ranked Koping Stars (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. BC Lulea will play against the league's leader KFUM Jamtland and hopes to get back on the winning track.
