Regular Season Round 2: Roche - Hainaut 90-65

Very expected game when Hainaut was smashed by Roche in La Roche 90-65 on Saturday. Roche looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Chilean center Ziomara Morrison (194-89, agency: LBM Management) notched 24 points (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) to lead the effort and American forward Tiffany Clarke (183-91, college: Vanderbilt) supported her with 18 points and 7 rebounds. Coach Emmanuel Body's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists by Swedish forward Elin Gustavsson (190-93, college: Colorado St.) did not help to save the game for Hainaut. American point guard Janee Thompson (170-93, college: Kentucky) added 15 points for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Roche will meet Tarbes on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Hainaut will play against Bretagne and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
