Very predictable result in Slupsk where second ranked Czarni (5-1) defeated 13th ranked WKS Slask (2-5) 89-79 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Canadian point guard Marek Klassen (185-92, college: PLNU) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 assists. American Beau Beech (203-94, college: UNF) chipped in 25 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Turkish Kerem Kanter (207-95, college: Xavier) who recorded 16 points and 7 rebounds and international power forward Aleksander Dziewa (205-97, agency: Octagon Europe) added 17 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Czarni maintains second position with 5-1 record behind leader Anwil. Loser WKS Slask dropped to the fourteenth place with five games lost. Czarni will meet league's leader Anwil in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
