Regular Season Round 3: Katy Wroc. - Rydzyna 86-90

There was a surprise result when Rycerze (2-1) beat Katy Wroc. (2-1) in Katy Wroclawskie 90-86 on Saturday. Rycerze made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for center Szymon Milczynski (204-93) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). The former international Kamil Chanas (190-85) accounted for 18 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side. Four Rycerze players scored in double figures. Forward Marcin Bluma (201-89) came up with 16 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Michal Lipinski (185-86) added 9 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for Katy Wroc. in the defeat. Rycerze will meet at home Gimbasket (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Katy Wroc. will play against Olesnica (#14) and hope to secure a win.
