Regular Season Round 3: Krosno - Slask 2 101-87

Very important is a road loss of Slask (2-1) against Krosno (2-1) on Saturday night. Visiting Slask was defeated by Krosno in Krosno 101-87. They made 24-of-28 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Slask was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for naturalized Argentinian swingman Santiago Vaulet (194-98, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds. Naturalized German forward Julian Jasinski (201-96) contributed with 26 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Krosno's coach Radek Soja used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Szymon Tomczak (201-98) answered with 29 points and 8 rebounds (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field) and swingman Aleksander Lenczuk (193-93) added 15 points and 9 assists in the effort for Slask. Four Slask players scored in double figures. Krosno will play against Sokol in Lancut in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Slask will play at home against Lublin 2 and hopes to get back on the winning track.
