Regular Season Round 4: Pozuelo - La Matanza 66-62

Not a big story in a game when 6th ranked La Matanza (2-2) was defeated on the road by third ranked Pozuelo (3-2) 66-62 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of center Chema Gil (207-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and guard Alberto Arias (188-89) who added 12 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Pozuelo's coach Mariano Arasa used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side guard Lazaro Gonzalez (190-93) responded with 16 points and 5 rebounds and guard Imobach Pomares (192-94) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Despite that victory Pozuelo went down to fifth position (Group B) due to points difference. La Matanza at the other side keeps the sixth place with two games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Pozuelo will meet at home higher ranked Huelva CD (#3) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. La Matanza will play against Tenerife Naut. and hope to secure a win.
