Regular Season Round 2: TalTech - Siauliu Siauliai 66-79

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Estonian TalTech at the home court. Hosts were defeated by Lithuanian Siauliu Siauliai 79-66. TalTech was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. American guard Donica Cosby (172-88, college: Okla City) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points. Lithuanian forward Urte Bukauskaite (180-94) contributed with 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Marie Sepp (168-2) replied with 19 points and guard Sille-Liis Molder (172-5) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for TalTech. Four TalTech players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Siauliu Siauliai will play against Aistes-LSMU in Kaunas in the next round which should be an easy win for them. TalTech will play at home against Daugavpils Universitate and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
