Regular Season Round 3: Nysa - Olesnica 74-64

Nysa used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Olesnica 74-64 on Sunday night. Nysa dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Olesnica's 28. They outrebounded Olesnica 38-25 including 28 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for the former international power forward Michal Ignerski (207-80, college: MSU) who led the winners and scored 23 points and 6 rebounds. Michal Krawiec (195-97) accounted for 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Dawid Piasecki (190-95) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and guard Mikolaj Styczen (187-2) added 17 points respectively for Olesnica in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Nysa will meet Sudety (#15) in the next round. Olesnica will play against Katy Wroc. where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
