ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket smashed JDA Dijon at home 73-49. 28 personal fouls committed by JDA Dijon helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American guard Chris Jones (188-93, college: Angelo St.) who scored 8 points and 4 assists. International forward William Howard (203-93) chipped in 12 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American-Jamaican guard Sek Henry (193-87, college: Nebraska) who recorded 15 points and 5 assists and naturalized Chadian power forward Jacques Alingue (203-88) added 11 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. JDA Dijon will play next round against Monaco trying to get back on the winning streak. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket will try to continue on its current victory against SIG Strasbourg on the road.
