We should mention about the upset which took place in Kfar Blum, where Galil Elion lost at home to Hapoel Jerusalem 69-83 on Sunday. Hapoel Jerusalem outrebounded Galil Elion 41-28 including 16 on the offensive glass. Belgian-Nigerian guard Retin Obasohan (191-93, college: Alabama) stepped up and scored 22 points and 6 assists for the winners and the former international Adam Ariel (195-94, agency: Avi Zilberman) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). At the losing side American forward Bryce Washington (201-96, college: La-Lafayette) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Itay Moskovich (192-0) scored 13 points. Four Galil Elion players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
