Regular Season Round 6: BC Lulea - Norrkoping 70-93

There was no surprise when 7th ranked BC Lulea (2-4) was crushed at home by third ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (4-1) 93-70 on Friday. Norrkoping Dolphins dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to BC Lulea's 28. Norrkoping Dolphins forced 20 BC Lulea turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. International Nathan Dawit (192-94, agency: Players Group) scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and international point guard Felix Terins (188-98) chipped in 15 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four Norrkoping Dolphins players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American-Latvian center Andrew Smith (205-92, college: Liberty) with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and American swingman Tavarius Shine (198-94, college: OK State) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains third position with 4-1 record behind leader Jamtland. BC Lulea lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with four games lost. They share the position with Nassjo. Norrkoping Dolphins will meet Koping Stars (#6) on the road in the next round. BC Lulea will have a break next round.
