Regular Season Round 4: Fos-Provence - Orleans 83-52

There was a surprise result when sixteenth ranked Provence Basket (1-2) rolled over higher ranked Entente Orleans 45 (1-2) in Fos-sur-Mer 83-52 on Friday. Provence Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Entente Orleans 45's 22. They outrebounded Entente Orleans 45 36-24 including 29 on the defensive glass. Provence Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Entente Orleans 45's players. The winners were led by American-Liberian Lasan Kromah (198-91, college: UConn) who scored that evening 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and naturalized Central African Allan Dokossi (203-99) supported him with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Five Provence Basket players scored in double figures. Even 18 points by American point guard Chris Warren (177-88, college: Ole Miss) did not help to save the game for Entente Orleans 45. His fellow American import forward Kyvon Davenport (203-97, college: Memphis) added 14 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Provence Basket left bottom position moving up to eleventh place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Entente Orleans 45. Provence Basket will meet JDA Dijon (#12) on the road in the next round. Entente Orleans 45 will play against the league's leader Metropolitans having rather not much hope for a victory.
