Very predictable result when eighth ranked La Matanza (3-2) won against 13th ranked Tenerife Naut. (1-3) in Las Palmas 81-69 on Saturday. La Matanza dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Tenerife Naut.'s 22. Swingman Imobach Gonzalez (193-93) nailed 20 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and forward Romen Hernandez (200-91) accounted for 16 points and 8 rebounds. Slovenian Mark Ivankovic (194-3) came up with 21 points and 9 rebounds and Montenegrin forward Danilo Brnovic (200-0) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Tenerife Naut. in the defeat.
