Not a big story in a game when 4th placed Alfinden (1-2) lost on the road to leader Igualada (3-0) 97-82 on Saturday. Igualada forced 21 Alfinden turnovers. Forward Nil Baques (195-98) nailed 25 points for the winning side and Eduard Burges (188-90) accounted for 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American swingman Charles Knowles (196-93, college: William Penn) came up with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Chechu Malo (203-96) added 19 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) respectively for Alfinden in the defeat. Five Igualada and four Alfinden players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Igualada. They keep a position of Group C-2 leader, which they share with L'Hospitalet and Esparreguera.
