Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both sixth ranked Inter Bratislava and 7th ranked Komarno had identical 1-2 record. This time Inter Bratislava used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Komarno 87-73 on Saturday night. Inter Bratislava shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of Puerto Rican point guard Ivan Gandia-Rosa (185-97, college: UNF) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 6 assists and Bosnian forward Jure Zubac (203-95, agency: PEPI SPORT) who added 19 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Serbian swingman Luka Gasic (195-98) responded with 18 points and 6 rebounds and Serbian forward Vuk Djordjevic (203-99) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Five Komarno players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Inter Bratislava (2-2) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Handlova. Komarno lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh position with three games lost. Inter Bratislava will meet Iskra Svit (#6) on the road in the next round. Komarno will play against the league's leader Lucenec and hope to win that game.
