Regular Season Round 3: TalTech - Liepaja/LSSS 60-63

Very predictable result when Latvian Liepaja/LSSS (3-1) edged on the road Estonian TalTech (0-3) 63-60 on Saturday. Liepaja/LSSS forced 25 TalTech turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Maija Gertsone (173-98) who led the winners and scored 19 points and 4 assists. Latvian forward Paula Klescova (180-1) accounted for 11 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winning side. Point guard Marie Sepp (168-2) came up with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and forward Marta-Eleri Jaama (185-5) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for TalTech in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Liepaja/LSSS will meet Neptunas (#5) in the next round. TalTech will play against LCC Tarp. (#12) in Klaipeda and hopes to get finally their first victory.
