Regular Season Round 3: Milano Urania - Cd'Orlando 93-89

There was no surprise when Cd'Orlando (0-3) lost on the road to Milano Urania (2-1) 93-89 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Milano Urania made 27-of-34 free shots (79.4 percent) during the game, while Cd'Orlando only scored five points from the stripe. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Aaron Thomas (196-89, college: FSU) who led the winners and scored 27 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. The former international point guard Stefano Bossi (190-94, agency: Players Group) accounted for 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Senegalese forward Baye Modou Diouf (203-99) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds and American swingman Tevin Mack (198-97, college: Clemson) added 22 points respectively for Cd'Orlando in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Milano Urania will meet Piacenza (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Cd'Orlando will play against Biella (#12) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
