Very expected game in Warszawa where Polonia W-wa (0-3) was defeated by Gorzow Wlkp. (2-1) 84-73. Gorzow Wlkp. made 20-of-24 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American-Bosnian forward Courtney Hurt (185-90, college: VCU) who led the winners and scored 23 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Bulgarian forward Borislava Hristova (182-96, college: WSU) accounted for 25 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. American guard Loryn Goodwin (171-94, college: OK State) came up with 20 points and 5 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and center Martyna Leszczynska (190-0) added 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks respectively for Polonia W-wa in the defeat. Polonia W-wa's coach Maciej Gordon rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Gorzow Wlkp. will play against Lublin at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Polonia W-wa will play against Sosnowiec (#4) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
