Undefeated Valle de Egues (4-1) recorded its first loss in Olaz on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by twelfth ranked Pas Pielagos (2-3) 66-62. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Valle de Egues. Point guard Mario Solorzano (188-1) nailed 28 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and naturalized Argentinian guard Juan Pablo Sutina (192-90, agency: Interperformances) accounted for 18 points and 4 steals. Power forward Javier Lacunza (203-94, college: FAU) came up with 20 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Nicolas Uriz (184-96) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Valle de Egues in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Pas Pielagos moved-up to ninth place in Group A-A, which they share with Cantbasket.
