There was no surprise when 11th ranked Easo (1-4) lost on the road to seventh ranked Solares (4-1) 95-80 on Sunday. American-British center Kaj-Bjorn Sherman (213-92, college: UTSA) nailed a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side and Diego Garcia (192-0) accounted for 28 points and 4 steals. Solares' coach Asier Gordo used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Center Inigo Sarasola (207-95) came up with 18 points and 5 rebounds and Martin Dorronsoro (200-1) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Easo in the defeat. Four Solares and five Easo players scored in double figures. Solares keeps a position of Group A-A leader, which they share with 5 other teams. Easo lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the fourteenth place with four games lost. They share the position with 5 other teams. Solares will meet Zarautz (#12) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Easo will play against Cantbasket and hope to win that game.
