No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Salou (2-1) beat at home bottom-ranked Sant Cugat (0-3) 74-56 on Sunday. They outrebounded Sant Cugat 48-36 including 35 on the defensive glass. Naturalized Equatorial Guinean power forward Oscar Ngomo (201-90) nailed a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and guard Gonzalo Balta (190-95) accounted for 15 points and 5 rebounds. Josep Crespo came up with 10 points and 6 rebounds and Daniel Busto added 9 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Sant Cugat in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Salou moved-up to third place in Group C-1, which they share with 4 other teams. Sant Cugat lost their third game in a row. They still close the standings with three games lost. They share the position with UE Horta.
