There was a surprise result when Galil Gilboa won against Maccabi Tel-Aviv in Rosh Pina 87-83 on Sunday. Galil Gilboa made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. British-American power forward Sacha Killeya-Jones (211-98, college: NC State) notched a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds to lead the effort and American guard London Perrantes (185-94, college: Virginia) supported him with 14 points and 10 assists. Five Galil Gilboa players scored in double figures. Even 16 points and 6 rebounds by international forward Roman Sorkin (208-96, college: Oregon) did not help to save the game for Maccabi Tel-Aviv. International guard Yiftah Ziv (191-95, agency: Avi Zilberman) added 7 points and 9 assists for the guests. Maccabi Tel-Aviv's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Galil Gilboa will meet Hapoel Holon on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Maccabi Tel-Aviv will play against Hapoel Jerusalem and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
