There was a minor upset in Klaipeda where much higher ranked Latvian Liepaja/LSSS (3-2) was crushed by top-ranked Lithuanian Neptunas (3-0) 77-47 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 49-16 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Neptunas dominated on the defensive end, holding Liepaja/LSSS to just 7 points in third and fourth quarters. They held Liepaja/LSSS to an opponent 22.8 percent shooting from the field compared to 40.3 percent accuracy of the winners. Neptunas forced 21 Liepaja/LSSS turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Liepaja/LSSS's players.
