Regular Season Round 6: Gliwice 2 - MKS DG 2 53-100

No shocking result in a game when third ranked MKS DG 2 (5-1) crushed on the road 15th ranked Gliwice 2 (1-5) 100-53 on Saturday. MKS DG 2 dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Gliwice 2's 34. MKS DG 2 forced 28 Gliwice 2 turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Gliwice 2's players. Piotr Lucka (194-96) notched 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and point guard Maciej Kocma (186-97) supported him with 11 points and 4 assists. Five MKS DG 2 players scored in double figures. Even 16 points by guard Aleksander Busz (197-4) did not help to save the game for Gliwice 2. Power forward Mikolaj Adamczak (204-2) added 10 points and 8 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. MKS DG 2 keeps a position of Group C leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Gliwice 2 at the other side keeps the fifteenth place with five games lost. They share the position with Rybnik. MKS DG 2 will meet UR Krakow (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Gliwice 2 will play against Rybnik (#16) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
