Regular Season Round 3: Pyrinto - PuHu 87-78

Pyrinto defeated PuHu in Tampere 87-78. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 30-19. But PuHu won second period 20-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Pyrinto forced 23 PuHu turnovers. It was a good game for guard Kion Williams (186-3) who led his team to a victory with 20 points. Guard Brunel Madzou (185-5) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Pyrinto's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Rasmus Jaatinen (198-4) answered with 19 points and 7 rebounds and center Valtteri Heiskanen (197-4) added 13 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for PuHu. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
