No shocking result in a game when second ranked Levice (4-1) crushed on the road bottom-ranked Prievidza (0-5) 105-60 on Saturday. Levice shot 65.0 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 62.1 percentage. Levice looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. International David Abraham (193-96) nailed 25 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winning side and American forward Tre McCallum (201-95, college: DePaul) accounted for 20 points. Five Levice players scored in double figures. Levice's coach Michal Madzin felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Canadian forward Alonzo Walker (198-96, college: Portland St.) came up with 13 points and American Christian Oshita (201-97, college: UCSD) added 14 points respectively for Prievidza in the defeat. Levice have a solid series of four victories in a row. They used an opportunity after Lucenec lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Loser Prievidza still closes the standings with five games lost. Levice will meet at home Handlova (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Prievidza will play against Inter Bratislava (#5) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
