Regular Season Round 6: IDK Eustotren - Ferrol 89-60

There was a small surprise in San Sebastian where thirteenth ranked IDK Eustotren (2-4) outscored 10th ranked Ferrol (2-4) 89-60 on Saturday. It was a great shooting night for IDK Eustotren especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Ferrol's players. The best player for the winners was Mali center Mariam Coulibaly (192-97) who scored 22 points and 6 rebounds. Swingman Maria Espana (180-92) chipped in 21 points. Five IDK Eustotren players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Taylor Koenen (188-98, college: UNC, agency: LBM Management) who recorded 12 points and 7 rebounds and guard Carmen Grande (173-97, college: Ohio St.) added 14 points respectively. Ferrol's coach Lino Lopez gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. IDK Eustotren moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Ferrol. IDK Eustotren will meet higher ranked Ensino (#10) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Ferrol will play against the league's leader Avenida where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
