Very expected game when 7th ranked Osijek (3-4) was crushed at home by second ranked Split (6-1) 104-66 on Sunday. Split shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Osijek's players. American forward Tre McLean (197-93, college: Chattanooga, agency: Slash Sports) fired 25 points for the winners. International guard Toni Perkovic (191-98) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Sime Lisica (190-98) produced 18 points (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and Australian-South Sudanese guard Jackson Makoi (196-0, college: Daytona St.) added 15 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Split have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Cedevita Jr. Loser Osijek keeps the seventh place with four games lost. They share the position with Sonik P.. Split will meet at home Zabok (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Osijek will play against Sibenik and hope to secure a win.
