Regular Season Round 2: Holon - Hertzeliya 88-68

The game in Holon supposed to be also quite interesting. Hertzeliya played at the court of Holon. Holon did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 88-68 on Monday. Holon dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Hertzeliya's 38. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Hertzeliya's players. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was point guard Britney Jones (174-87, college: UAB) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals. Center Kelsey Bone (193-91, college: Texas A&M) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Holon players scored in double figures. Forward Najai Pollard (180-97, college: Delaware St.) produced 23 points and 8 rebounds and forward Kristen Simon (188-95, college: USC) added 17 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Holon will meet M.Haifa on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Hertzeliya will play against Ashdod and hope to win that game.
