Everything could happen in Kranj at the game between two tied teams. Both third ranked Serbian 021 and 4th placed Slovenian Triglav had identical 1-2 record. But Triglav was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Novi Sad 68-61 on Wednesday night. Triglav trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 21-15 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 61-68 at the end of the game. 021 dominated on the defensive end, holding Triglav to just 7 points in first quarter. They outrebounded Triglav 43-20 including a 33-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. Power forward Zaklina Jankovic (190-94, agency: BeoBasket) nailed 18 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winning side and point guard Carna Prokic (173-96, college: Georgian Court) accounted for 13 points and 7 rebounds. Four 021 players scored in double figures. Center Lara Bubnic (190-99) came up with 18 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Rebeka Abramovic (172-93) added 21 points and 5 steals respectively for Triglav in the defeat. 021 maintains third place with 2-2 record having just five point less than leader Montana. Loser Triglav keeps the fourth position with three games lost. 021 will meet at home league's leader KAM Basket in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Triglav will play against the league's leader Buducnost in Podgorica and hope to win that game.
