Regular Season Round 8: Split - Zabok 81-68

There was no surprise when 10th ranked Zabok (2-6) was defeated on the road by second ranked Split (7-1) 81-68 on Friday. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Toni Perkovic (191-98) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and American forward Tre McLean (197-93, college: Chattanooga, agency: Slash Sports) who added 15 points during the contest. Bruno Levanic-Kutin (203-96) responded with 18 points and forward Antonio Crnjevic (202-94) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Split have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Cedevita Jr. Zabok lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth place with six games lost. They share the position with Dubrava. Split will meet Sibenik (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Zabok will play against Skrljevo and hope to secure a win.
