The guests trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 65-59. AEK dominated on the defensive end, holding Ionikos to just 5 points in second quarter. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when AEK made 7 blocks.
