There was no surprise when bottom-ranked Huesca (0-5) was outplayed on the road by fifth ranked Granada (4-1) 101-70 on Saturday. Granada shot 61.5 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 51.6 percentage. Granada looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Huesca's players. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Pere Tomas (202-89) who scored 20 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). American-Liberian guard Thomas Bropleh (196-91, college: Boise St., agency: Duran International) chipped in 19 points and 4 assists. Five Granada players scored in double figures. Forward Jorge Lafuente (197-91) produced 12 points and swingman Rafael Casanova (194-93, college: Florida Tech, agency: Promo Sport ID) added 9 points respectively for the guests. Huesca's coach Sergio Lamua gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Granada moved-up to second place, which they share with 4 other teams.
