There was no surprise when bottom-ranked Medvescak (0-6) was edged on the road by tenth ranked Samobor (2-4) 93-90 on Saturday. Samobor made 16-of-17 free shots (94.1 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Medvescak turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Forward Nikola Ivankovic (-99) scored 28 points to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Josip Skara (193-94) chipped in 13 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists and 6 steals during the contest. Samobor's coach Zvonimir Peric used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was forward Renato Serdarusic (196-1) with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Krunoslav Macner (193-0) scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Samobor and five Medvescak players scored in double figures. Samobor moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Jazine.
