Regular Season Round 5: Milano Urania - Treviglio 69-90

Another exciting game was between eighth ranked Treviglio and 7th ranked Milano Urania where Treviglio (3-2) crushed Milano Urania (2-3) on the road with 21-point difference 90-69. Treviglio outrebounded Milano Urania 39-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. Milano Urania was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Giddy Potts (188-95, college: MTSU) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Wayne Langston (200-93, college: Murray St., agency: Alti Sport) contributed with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Point guard Matteo Montano (190-92) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and American guard Aaron Thomas (196-89, college: FSU) added 13 points and 4 assists in the effort for Milano Urania. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Treviglio moved-up to seventh place in A2. Milano Urania at the other side dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. Treviglio will play against Cd'Orlando (#11) in Capo d'Orlando in the next round. Milano Urania will play on the road against Orzinuovi and hopes to get back on the winning track.
