Rather predictable result when eleventh ranked Trapani (2-3) edged on the road bottom-ranked Orzinuovi (0-5) 72-70 on Sunday. American point guard Sekou Wiggs (193-94, college: Alaska-Anch., agency: Slash Sports) stepped up and scored 28 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import forward Elijah Childs (202-99, college: Bradley) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds. American forward Aaron Epps (207-96, college: LSU) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and the former international power forward Andrea Renzi (206-89, agency: Players Group) scored 19 points. Orzinuovi's coach Fabio Corbani rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Trapani moved-up to tenth place in A2. Loser Orzinuovi still closes the standings with five games lost. Trapani will meet at home league's leader Cantu in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Orzinuovi will play against Milano Urania (#8) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
