No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Mondragon (5-2) defeated at home bottom-ranked Santander (2-5) 85-73 on Sunday. It was a great evening for point guard Daniel Lorenzo (181-93) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points and 7 assists. Swingman Andoni Acha (195-99) helped adding 18 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side Diego Ibarlucea (192-0) responded with 12 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Ismael Diarra (187-1) scored 14 points. Santander's coach Chisco Maranon rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for Mondragon. They moved-up to third place in Group A-A, which they share with Baskonia B. Loser Santander dropped to the bottom position with five games lost. They share it with 4 other teams.
